Reagan's Watching is a MultiFinder application designed to run in the background. If you are not running MultiFinder, it is pretty darn pointless to run this application.
When running in the background, Reagan will keep an eye on everything you do, watching your cursor as it moves around the screen. Of course, Reagan won't remember much. And if you don't keep his attention by moving the mouse, Reagan will usually start to doze.
Reagan's Watching was written in the spring of 1990 by Mark Malamud of Tao Jones Software, using THINK C 4.0.
Reagan's Watching was written to find satori (in MultiFinder's ability to multitask), to reach nirvana (with respect to asynchronous sound), and to gain a few pounds eating heavenly Mallomars.
Reagan's Watching is not free.
(There were moments when I thought I might just give it away, but then there were moments at 5 am, when all alone in my office, I would suddenly be tapped on the shoulder by those rosy fingertips of dawn and I would jump clear across the room. And then there were moments when somewhere around midnight, I would dip my hand into the cardboard box with the bright yellow wrapping and discover that there were [once again] no more Mallomars. And there were moments of pain and of confusion, of lightness and of dark, of bitmaps and of dangling pointers.
(So you can understand how, after this not inconsiderable loss of sanity and gaining of weight, I do not feel completely satisfied giving this software away.)
Hence, Reagan's Watching is shareware.
